Video Audition Checklist
Remember -- your video is about you and your vision of your own show. Don't forget to put the "show" in your idea for a talk show with a twist. Do more than tell us about your show idea -- show us you have "IT." And finally... have fun. Because if people see you enjoying yourself, they will enjoy you too!

Shooting tips:
All you need is a camera and a computer to upload footage.
Make a plan.
Make sure you're lit up and in focus.
Make sure we can hear you clearly — avoid noisy rooms or busy streets!
Try a variety of locations and activities.
Remember, the camera is your friend!

You must include:
Your passion and personality. It's what makes you... You.
Your name, age , job, and location.
Some personal info you think we should know: your dreams, interests, inspirations.
What makes you special? Why do you stand out?
What kind of unique talk show were you born to make?
And finally, walk the walk. Show us your show. You must choose from one of the following talk show categories: TRADITIONAL TALK SHOW, SPOKEN WORD, YOUTH, CHILDREN, COOKING, HEALTH & WELLBEING and ENTERTAINMENT.

EDITING TIPS
Does the video cut smoothly? Or does it seem jumpy?
Is the editing so fast you can't concentrate properly on the story?
Is the editing so slow you get bored?
Do you have any shots with technical problems? Focus and sound?
Are your titles spelled and spaced correctly?
Is all the dialog clear?
Does the music help the emotion of your story?
And finally, for your sake, check your video before you upload it -- make sure you can be seen and heard.

Promote Yourself
Share and promote your video to the widest possible audience by using the following promotional techniques to get more votes!

Simply cut and paste the browser link to your video profile page on the Your LifeZone TV Show site and...
Include the link in a friendly email to your friends, family and colleagues with a message to vote for your video on the Your LifeZone TV Show Web site.

Include the link in your email signature with a brief message — "Click here to vote for my video for the Your LifeZone TV Show contest on the LifeZone Television!"

Promote your video using SOCIAL MEDIA:
Post a link to your video profile page on your Facebook and MySpace pages.
Tweet about your video on Twitter and include a link to your video profile page.
Post your video on YouTube and other video sites with a link back to your video profile page on the Your LifeZone TV Show Web site.
Post a link to your video profile page on your personal blog or Web site.
